30 Years of Miracle in Bangladesh

Have you heard about Miracle that has happened in Bangladesh over the last 30 years? No? Bangladesh has the highest population density among the worlds big countries, today, Bangladesh has more people than Russia. But the area is smaller than Florida.

While Bangladesh is still a predominantly agarian country, the people managed to overcome much of the struggle with very little means. Surprisingly, what makes it more of a miracle is that Bangladesh has achieved this without major industrial abridgment, and the religions or culture didn’t hinder it. If they are able to sustain without industrialize intervention for the past 30 years, it will only promote the growth of more sustainable and suitable condition for many Bangladeshi’s through education, skills and vocational training.

In deed, the highest commodity Bangladesh posses are the people, and providing them with education, trade or skill set would increase the GDP of Bangladesh. Bangladesh would be able to export educated and trained labor, and compete in the mass labor market and generate income from the globalized world. However, the recent statistics shows that nearly 52% of all people are illiterate, which is about 90 million people out of the 150 million. Mukti Bangla’s mission is to increase literacy rate in Bangladesh, educate and train individuals so they too can be self-sufficient.
